ViralTranscript is designed to work without requiring users to create an account. Most visitors can use the transcript and subtitle tools without providing personal information.
The current transcript and subtitle tools may accept text that you paste or TXT, SRT, and VTT files that you select from your device. This content is processed locally in your browser by these tools and is not sent to ViralTranscript servers for transcript or subtitle processing.
The website may separately receive ordinary technical information associated with visiting a website, and consent-based analytics or advertising services may collect information as described below.
If you contact us through email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
2. How We Use Information
Information associated with operating the website may be used to maintain website functionality and reliability, understand general website usage, prevent abuse, troubleshoot technical issues, and respond to support requests.
ViralTranscript does not sell personal information to third parties.
3. Transcript & Subtitle Processing
ViralTranscript's current transcript and subtitle utilities are designed to process transcript text and supported TXT, SRT, and VTT files locally in your browser.
Operations such as cleaning, searching, analyzing, counting, converting, formatting, timestamp shifting, and subtitle editing are performed on your device by the current tools rather than by sending the transcript or subtitle contents to ViralTranscript's servers.
Selecting a local file allows your browser to read that file for the tool you chose. The file is not uploaded to ViralTranscript for transcript or subtitle processing by these current tools.
You should still avoid entering confidential, sensitive, private, or legally restricted content on a device or browser you do not trust.
4. Cookies, Analytics & Local Storage
ViralTranscript may use cookies, local storage, browser storage, and similar technologies for website functionality, preferences, and consent choices.
Google Analytics is configured to load only after analytics cookie consent is accepted. Analytics services may collect information such as page visits, browser and device information, referral sources, and general website usage patterns.
With analytics consent, ViralTranscript may send limited custom events about product actions, such as opening a tool, selecting a supported file type, completing a conversion, copying or downloading a result, or opening a related tool.
These custom analytics events do not include the transcript or subtitle text you paste or open, private search phrases entered inside transcripts, uploaded file contents, or filenames.
Information stored locally in your browser remains under your control and can generally be removed by clearing the relevant browser data or local storage.

ViralTranscript may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other advertising partners.
Third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies where permitted and according to your consent choices, browser settings, and their applicable policies.
Advertising services operate separately from the local transcript and subtitle processing performed by the current tools.

ViralTranscript uses third-party providers for parts of the website that are separate from the local transcript and subtitle processing performed by the current tools.

These providers may process limited technical or usage information required to provide their respective services under their own policies.

The current browser-based transcript and subtitle tools are not designed to send the contents you paste or open to those providers for transcript or subtitle processing.

Because the current transcript and subtitle tools perform their core text and file processing in your browser, ViralTranscript does not retain that content on its servers as part of those processing operations.

Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to requests and for operational, legal, or security purposes.
